Headshot – Rita Bullwinkel Reads From Her Debut Novel

Rita Bullwinkel is the author of Headshot and the short story collection Belly Up, which won the Believer Book Award. She is a recipient of the 2022 Whiting Award and is also an editor for McSweeney’s Quarterly and NOON. Bullwinkel is a professor of English at the University of San Francisco, where she teaches courses on creative writing, literary magazines, and the use of language (real and invented) for world building.
