Directions
The following directions may help you to find the venue.
By car
Take the highway A2 and use the exit “Magdeburg-Zentrum“. Leave the ring road (B71) at the exit “Albert-Vater-Straße“. Turn left at the traffic lights and follow “Walter-Rathenau-Straße“ up to the rotary “Universitätsplatz“. There you take the exit “Burg/Dessau” (B1), cross two bridges over the river Elbe and turn right after the second bridge into “Turmschanzenstraße“. After 700 meters, you will find the ministry on the left.
By train
Take a train to Magdeburg main station, which you leave via the main entrance to find the tram stop “City Carré/Hauptbahnhof“ left to the shopping center City Carré by passing the cinema “CinemaXx“. There, change for tram 4 (direction: Cracau). Exit at the stop “Zollhaus“, walk over “Anna-Ebert“-bridge and turn left into “Turmschanzenstraße”. After 400 meters, you will find the ministry to your right. (see map below).
or
Take the tram 6 (direction “Herrenkrug“). Exit at “Heumarkt“ and walk 50 meters back in the direction of the Old Elbe. Then turn right into “Turmschanzenstraße“. After 400 meters, you will find the ministry to your right.
