American Indians and World War I

The lecture will consider the ways Indian experiences differed from or were the same as the other Americans’ experiences during the war. It will look at patriotism, joining the military, their duties during the conflict, how the war affected Indians who remained at home, and the overall impact the war had on the tribal people.
