American Studies Network (ASN)

The Muhlenberg Center for American Studies (MCAS) is a member of the American Studies Network (ASN).

The American Studies Network (ASN) brings together a group of American Studies centers from a wide variety of European countries (Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Germany, Great Britain, Ireland, Italy, Netherlands, Poland, Spain, and Sweden) and includes associated members from non-European countries as well. Having been founded in November, 1990 in Berlin, the ASN works closely together with the European Association for American Studies (EAAS). All members of the network share an interdisciplinary approach to American Studies and the desire to cooperate with other institutions interested in this field in order to foster the study of the United States of America.
